Blockchain security platform BlockSec, a leading blockchain-based company, has worked with Cobo, which is an online asset custody and on-chain payment platform. The deal aims to integrate the Know Your Transaction (KYT) technology of BlockSec with the Cobo Payment API. The move provides an inclusive solution with the merger of payments, compliance and risk control as described by BlockSec in its official X announcement. Both platforms therefore try to bolster international firms by reducing the cost of operations, scale safely and comply with much more complicated regulatory requirements.

BlockSec and Cobo are partnering to advance the security standards for cross-border payments. Cross-border payment companies are now facing new challenges, and the management of large amounts of capital in USD needs strong custody solutions. The traditional self-built wallets, however, still suffer from compliance audits and single-point failure. Moreover, on-chain gas charges also drive unpredictability further, which affects profit margins and complicated the aggregate of assets across various sub-addresses.
But other than that, operational inefficiencies such as exception troubleshooting and manual reconciliation further slow down business growth. Keeping this in mind, Cobo is now adding KYT risk engines of BlockSec to its Payment API. This allows enterprises to receive compliance scanning, automated reconciliation and seamless fund management with a significant increase in security and lower charges.
Strengthening Security in Global Payment Networks with Robust AML Fraud Protections
The collaboration reveals “an entire cycle payment engine to balance, compliance, efficiency and security” according to BlockSec. As well as that, blocksec’ phalcon Compliance technology integrates real-time anti-money laundering features into the payment channels of Cobo. During reflection on this, Cobo’s Head of Payments and Vice President Alex Zuo claimed the move makes payments safer, faster and cheaper.
In addition, Professor Zhou Yajin, CEO of BlockSec, noted that the partnership “has set a new standard for global payment ecosystems” which effectively prevents money laundering and wire fraud risks.
