The open-source OpenClaw skill has been revealed by CoinFello, an AI agent built for secure smart contract interaction, with MetaMask to allow Moltbot’s AI agents to execute on-chain transactions using delegated smart wallet permissions.
Designed on ERC-4337 smart accounts and ERO-7710 delegations via the MetaMask Smart Accounts Kit, it allows users to keep private keys in custody while limited permissions are granted to agents such as CoinFello.
System is based on a least-privilege model of . In CoinFello, the user requests for natural-language use are interpreted as delegated transactions that are validated before execution and thus reduces “the need to expose private keys or API credentials” (CamerFella said).
The release reflects growing momentum around AI agents interacting with blockchain infrastructure.
But the industry needs stronger security strategies if AI agents are to play a meaningful role in the onchain economy, rather than using models that give autonomous systems private keys, CoinFello CTO Brett Cleary said.
“The CoinFello Skill” introduces hardware-isolated keys and fine-grained delegations, allowing AI agents to perform transactions safely while supporting bootstrap onchain capabilities for the wider agent ecosystem.” Cleary said.
This launch resembles the OpenClaw ecosystem, where more than 150,000 GitHub stars, 22,000 forks and over 416,000 npm downloads have been downloaded since last month as well as an impressive number of other rapid growth.
Using natural-language prompts, Moltbots can perform actions like ERC-20 swaps (cross-chain), NFT interactions and staking, lending, portfolio rebalancing as well as multi-step trading strategies.
The talent, which is based on the Agent Skills specification, works with OpenClaw environments and Claude Code, has been released under the MIT license for developer use and modification.
The Moltbots can delegate permission to any onchain agent, CoinFello says, “We will be able to use the same process as our next development is focused on expanded permission frameworks and deeper MetaMasesk Smart Accounts Kit integration.”
