A mischievous collective hiding behind the moniker “Green Dildo Coin” has confessed to orchestrating a series of bizarre disruptions at WNBA games, turning courts into impromptu toy stores by launching sex toys onto the hardwood.
A mischievous wave rippled through the crypto world in late July: Operation $DILDO was afoot. Launched alongside its own NFT menagerie, this brazen meme coin wasn’t content to simply exist – it craved the spotlight, orchestrating a daring, coordinated surge for visibility and trading volume.
Since its debut, the group has focused on shock value and provocation to market the token.
July 29th. Atlanta Dream versus Golden State Valkyries. A flash of neon green – a dildo emblazoned with a hashtag – interrupted the game, landing squarely on the court. This wasn’t a one-off. A bizarre wave of similar disruptions followed, culminating in two arrests and leaving basketball fans wondering: what’s the message behind the mayhem?
A Georgia man’s bizarre courtside antics have landed him in hot water. Delbert Carver, 23, is accused of disrupting an August 1st Atlanta Dream versus Phoenix Mercury game by hurling a sex toy onto the court. But the story doesn’t end there. Carver has also reportedly confessed to a similar incident just days earlier on July 29th, solidifying his status as public enemy number one for basketball purists with a strange fixation.
Phoenix PD cuffed Kaden Lopez, 18, this week after a bizarre ballpark incident. Lopez allegedly launched a green sex toy into the stands, nailing a fan enjoying the game with his nine-year-old niece.
Los Angeles Sparks coach Lynne Roberts said at a press conference that the incidents were “ridiculous.”
“It’s also dangerous,” she added. “Player safety is number one, respecting the game, all those things.”
Fueled by viral frenzy, the meme coin mafia’s online echo chamber vibrates with self-congratulatory hype. Each retweet, every fleeting mention of their outlandish stunts, is ammunition in their relentless push a digital siren song luring fresh capital into their volatile vortex. They’re not just building a coin; they’re engineering a feeding frenzy.
That said, their X account has less than 900 followers and their Telegram group just over 1,000.
A torrent of misogynistic vitriol spewed forth during a seven-hour X Spaces livestream hosted by the Green Dildo Coin community on Tuesday. While games played out on the court, the commentary devolved into crude mockery of the WNBA, reducing its athletes to dehumanizing stereotypes, calling them “a bunch of sweaty lesbians.” The conversation reached a disturbing crescendo with jokes about intentionally harming players with thrown objects.
The majority of the group seem to be American, though others had British and Australian accents.
“Prepare for pandemonium,” the X Spaces host declared, a glint in their digital eye. “Let the crypto crazies know: this masterpiece bears our mark.”
The host alleged the group wasn’t just lobbing phallic projectiles, they were bankrolling the whole bizarre operation. Rumor had it they were offering a bounty for successful throws, a bonus of $500 dangled for any dildo that managed to stick upright upon impact. Alas, gravity and perhaps a lack of throwing finesse conspired against their ambitions. Not a single one stood tall.
Their glee was unsettling. “We made them happy,” they crowed, convinced that exploiting the incidents was the true spirit of crypto, patting themselves on the back for shining a spotlight – however perverse – on women’s sports.
The line blurs between planned operations and acts inspired by the group’s notoriety, making it difficult to discern where calculated strategy ends and fervent imitation begins.
Donald Trump Jr. has also posted a meme featuring his father about the incidents on Instagram.

“Inside their Telegram lair, shadows plotted unthinkable chaos. Whispers turned to wicked schemes, targeting the jubilant Boston Marathon, the electric energy of a Lady Gaga concert, and the pristine lawns of Wimbledon.”
Forget sleepy altcoins! This token is scorching the charts. CoinGecko reports a blazing $1.23 million traded in the last 24 hours, a 28.5% jump that’s got everyone talking. But the real story? A meteoric 193.7% surge in just one week, catapulting the price to $0.0009073. Buckle up, because this rocket is just getting started.
Green Dildo Coin did not respond to a request for an interview via X.
The WNBA’s silence on the incident speaks volumes, especially considering their previous warnings about the potential danger of projectiles endangering players, referees, and even the spectators themselves.
“Hurl an object onto the court, and kiss your WNBA fandom goodbye. We’re talking instant ejection, a minimum one-year ban from all arenas, and a trip downtown courtesy of the local police. Respect the game, respect the players, or face the consequences.”
